This is a Hybrid position based in our Headquarters location in Lancaster, PA

 

Lead audits, perform audit administration, and provide supervision as needed. Develop and utilize an advanced knowledge of internal auditing concepts and complex banking systems and operations. Responsible for audit assignments ranging from assisting, coordinating, or supervising the completion of complex audits. May supervise multiple audit assignments simultaneously. 

• Assess the relevancy of audit findings, identify potential risk exposures and their materiality, and spot trends while understanding the importance of assigning fair and appropriate risk ratings at the completion of audits. Perform audits in accordance with internal audit standards and professional standards. Utilize knowledge of accounting, regulatory requirements, and operating procedures for assigned audit areas while maintaining appropriate levels of audit independence and objectivity.
• Effectively communicate the audit process, objectives, and scope of work while maintaining effective communication and coordination with all parties involved. Translate complex technical findings, recommendations, and trends into understandable and concise written and verbal communication.
• Evaluate complex, multidimensional situations, and risk characteristics to formulate appropriate control recommendations and advice. Comment on corporate policies, standards, and procedures.
• Lead audit engagements, delivering assignments on time and within budget. Lead teams effectively by actively supporting a team culture. Responsible for critical decision making, influence, and inspiring staff to get results.

Education

Bachelor Degree or the equivalent experience. Specialty: Accounting, business administration, finance, or equivalent. (Required)

Experience

4 or more years Auditing, accounting, or a related field. (Required)

Certifications

Certified Internal Auditor. (Preferred)

Certified Public Accountant. (Preferred)

This role may perform other job duties as assigned by the manager. This includes but is not limited to, understanding and identifying compliance risks impacting their department(s), ensuring compliance with applicable laws or regulations, and escalating compliance risks to the appropriate level of management.
