Summary
Position Summary
The Content Coordinator (CC) manages the content on e-commerce websites including amazon.com, walmart.com, and more. The CC is primarily responsible for content auditing, updating, and monitoring across the digital shelf and works on other large-scale e-commerce projects as assigned. The CC will acquaint themselves with additional retailers as assigned.
They can work under minimal supervision and manage several ongoing projects simultaneously across multiple retailers. They are responsible for all assigned clients’ digital content needs and are expected to work closely with the Associate Director of Content, the client, and other members of the JMS team as well as other internal agency teams.
To be successful, the CC will need to learn quickly, stay on top of new e-commerce trends, and be a motivated independent worker. Attention to detail, the ability to shift focus to different types of projects, and the ability to write and work efficiently in Excel are a must.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Catalog Management
Upload and manage copy, imagery, and enhanced content in online retailer portals and PIM
Audit and monitor digital shelf for correctness, update through retailer-specific online channels and PIM
Use Excel daily to organize and edit product information for upload and syndication
Digital Shelf Monitoring
Use Excel daily to track content health and updates on trackers
Set up and use digital shelf monitoring tools
Stay up to date on best-in-class content by retailer and make content recommendations
Onboarding New Products
Merchandise new products once new item set-up is complete with copy, images, and enhanced content through vendor portals and PIM
Perform ongoing maintenance of products as content suite is built out and/or updated
Client and Project Management
Effective and concise communication over email and phone
Take ownership of projects, provide reasonable timelines to stakeholders, follow through on commitments
Ability to stay organized and juggle competing priorities
Follow up with stakeholders as necessary
Content Creation (Preferred)
Write and edit copy for e-commerce
Enhanced Content creation
Work cross-functionally with internal teams on content creation
Minimum Qualifications
The following are the minimum job-related qualifications that an individual must have to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the job successfully:
● Education Level: (Required): Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
● Field of Study/Area of Experience: 1-3 years of experience (e-commerce, copywriting, project management or similar preferred)
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
● Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate self-starter qualities
● Proven ability to manage multiple projects, drive hard to completion, and deliver effective results
● Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
● Background or interest in e-commerce, content, or grocery
Environmental & Physical Requirements
Office / Sedentary Requirements Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is mainly performed in an environment of the incumbent’s choosing, typically their home or a similar work-friendly location (e.g. coffee shop, library etc.). Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each day), ability to hear and talk over the telephone, and the ability to enter data on a computer. Phone and internet access are essential for this position.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Write, edit and proof content for online commerce through:
Assessing data and information needs for content projects
Synthesizing meeting notes, sell sheets and other data into clear and engaging content
Creating a narrative or voice that represents a company or brand
Developing enhanced content, graphics and page layout for online retail sites for various Sage Tree clients; write, edit and proofread new content while ensuring that all documents meet established content standards
Recognize and solve data problems and inconsistencies
Develop and maintain relationships with clients & internal sales team: develop client-deliverables including setup sheets, proposals and more, and present information effectively and persuasively.
Set up SKUs on retailers' operating systems.
Work with the Trade Marketing Manager to help evaluate market segmentation, competitive analysis, product positioning and new product launch programs for clients' online business; also work with the team to keep product information up-to-date on our servers

Minimum Qualifications
The following are the minimum job-related qualifications which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the job
Education Level: (Required) : Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Field of Study/Area of Experience: preferably in Journalism, Marketing, Math, or Finance - writing and analytical background necessary
0-2 years of experience in e-commerce or writing
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Avid web user
Proficient In Excel spreadsheets •required•
High level of initiative and ability to work under minimal supervision
Strong writer with an eye for creating engaging content
Experience in how to tell a story using words, graphics and rich media
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
Ability to achieve success by transforming ambiguity into clear standards
Excellent interpersonal skills including written and oral communication skill
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products desired - graphics experience a plus
Desire to contribute to a positive work environment and create success for clients and team members
Ability to manage large amounts of data and streamline processes
Passion, integrity and energy
Knowledge of basic SEO best practices and keyword research
