Job description
Are you a Project Manager or Superintendent with experience managing projects of varying sizes for either residential or commercial properties? Do you have a background with modern construction methods and materials? Are you regularly involved with handling pre-construction services, reviewing project proposals, and collaborating with upper management?
We are an leading property investment company that owns and builds residential and commercial properties across the Denver Metro area taking on projects of all shapes and sizes. We take pride in our process to ensure our buildings meet our client's needs to help them realize their goals and business objectives.
We are looking to bring on a Construction Project Manager/Superintendent to help establish our internal construction division from scratch and help us accomplish the next stage in our growth of owning the building and ownership process from start to finish.
This position will have you working in the field regularly but also involve sitting in-office and help establish our construction division from scratch. You must be experienced with project documentation and understand preconstruction services.
What You Will Be Doing
- Prepare budgets and project plans for every phase of construction (preconstruction to closeout)
- Create project documentation including estimates and proposals on new projects as well as monitor project progress to create change orders as needed
- Review project proposals and plans to establish deadlines and staffing requirements
- Work on job sites to oversee construction process from start to finish and ensure timely delivery on project milestones
- Coordinate with company leadership and both crews and subcontractors to ensure delivery according to deadlines and schedules
- Handle planning/scheduling of all contractors/subcontractors
What You Need for this Position
The Construction Project Manager/Superintendent must have at least 7 years of experience working in construction and be familiar with:
- Must have at least 3+ years of experience in either a Project Manager or Superintendent position and be able to take on both job site supervision and project documentation responsibilities
- Background handling project scheduling and coordinating crews
- Experience acting as a General Contractor overseeing framing and concrete
- Proven experience with project management tasks and handling a solid portfolio of projects at the same time
- Experience with modern construction scheduling and project softwares (Procore, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, etc..)
Nice to Have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Construction, or related field
- Professional certifications highly desired (OSHA, etc.)
