Purpose of Position

The AH-64 Program Training Manager is responsible for design and development of simulation projects. Primary duties will include evaluation and documentation of AH-64E simulator flight model behavior, onboard avionics, and pilot vehicle interface. Position will require extensive experience with the AH-64E Primary Systems, Mission Equipment and Avionics operation and capabilities. Position will require candidate to perform coordination with PM and user community regarding simulation requirements and integrate user feedback to the design of future aircraft capability insertions.
Provides advice and technical direction for problem solving at a high level and is a recognized expert in the area AH-64E helicopter. Performs analysis, requirements development, defines problems, develops and recommends solutions, conducts evaluations, performs analytical work in support of systems and/or organizations, and possesses specialized knowledge and expertise in the designated area. This position requires expertise in the AH-64E helicopter. Use expertise, skill and networking ability to promote growth and development of future devices to support existing or developing opportunities. Provide support to AH-64E Business Development efforts as required.

While performing the duties of this job, the teammate is regularly required to sit, use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The teammate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. The teammate must have close and distance vision and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
