Job Title: Human Resources Assistant
Pay Rate: $18.06 – 27.09/hour
Starting range $18.06 - $22.00
Hours of Work: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday
Location: 2958 6th Avenue S., Seattle, WA.
Job Summary:
Direct and administer initial application process, answer routine employee questions, support the Human Resources department through reception, data entry, word processing, maintenance of records and files, and work on special projects.
Requirements To Be Considered For Position:

Required Essential Skills/Experience:
1. Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and other computer skills.
2. Minimum two years clerical experience.
3. Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
4. Effective verbal and written communication within a diverse environment.
5. Able to file accurately.
6. Comfortable in a busy environment, able to prioritize.
7. Able to move between buildings and climb stairs.
8. Detail oriented, good with numbers and able to proof own work.
Desirable Essential Skills/Experience:
1. Experience in Human Resources Office.
2. Experience with Ceridian Dayforce or similar human resources software.
Required Essential Job Functions/Duties:
1. Greet applicants and visitors. Provide information regarding job openings.
2. Answer phones, take messages, provide employees with various information and paperwork as requested.
3. Enter employee data and maintain digital employee files using Ceridian Dayforce and other HRIS software.
4. Use Microsoft Word and Excel to prepare labor contracts, documents, correspondence, position descriptions and postings, spreadsheets, memos, etc.
5. Maintain all employee and topical files.
6. Enter employee attendance data on computer, update personnel records regarding leaves of absence, vacations, etc.
7. Prepare orientation packets for new hires.
8. Handle written and telephone requests for verification of employment or other employee information.
9. Develop an understanding of company policies and benefits.
10. Order and maintain adequate levels of supplies for the department.
11. Maintain bulletin boards.
12. Other duties as assigned.
