Job description

WKYC TV, the TEGNA-owned NBC affiliate in Cleveland, Ohio is seeking a creative, engaging, Part-Time Lifestyle Show HOST for its popular program, "Good Company." Candidate would host a LIVE show and work with sales to create content for multiple platforms for local businesses. The successful candidate will be able to execute a variety of tasks in a fast-paced, ever-changing, multi-tasking environment and work well with advertisers, producers, and co-host.



Responsibilities

• Responsible for both live and taped interviews for our advertorial lifestyle program.
• Host will also interact in studio with clients, sales account executives, prospective clients and other guests on a daily basis.
• Host may do live commercials in the show or taped interstitials that air within the program.
• The ideal candidate will work 1 hour per day, 11:30-12:30pm, and must be available to be live at that time

• Host must have between 3-5 years of broadcast experience on an advertorial program
• Must have experience hosting solo and with co-host
• Must have experience reading teleprompter
• An outgoing personality and the people skills to work effectively with both clients and sales department members.
• Travel: Rarely: less than 10%

• Physical Demands Set: Light work: Involves sitting most of the time, walking, lifting, bending, standing, etc.
