Dispatcher Role & Responsibilities
Position Summary: As an A-1 Dispatcher, you will be responsible for ensuring the customers' needs are met while using the best business sense. Your tasks will include locating and assigning a specific technician to each service request, communicating with the customer, and supporting the A-1 technician and Customer Service team as needed. Our dispatchers typically work shifts during the hours of 7am-10pm and we are closed on Sundays.
What you’ll do:
- Receive emergency and non-emergency calls and record important information
- Address problems and requests by transmitting information or providing solutions
- Receive, prioritize, and dispatch orders for locksmith services
- Use phone or computer to send locksmiths to appropriate locations
- Monitor the route and status of technicians to coordinate and prioritize their schedule
- Provide technicians with information about jobs, traffic, obstacles and requirements
- Maintain electronic logs and records of calls, activities and other information
What you’ll need:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of the roadways throughout the DFW Metroplex
- Ability to prioritize and use decision making skills
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, & communication skills
- An eager and assertive personality
- Ability to multitask and work through high pressure situations
- Google and Microsoft Office experience preferred
- Previous Customer Service & Dispatching experience preferred
