OVERVIEW

The Vehicle Integration Manager (VIM) and Deputy Vehicle Integration Manager (DVIM) are responsible for the full vehicle integration leadership across Systems Engineering (SE), Vehicle Electronics & Software Engineering (VSW), and Design & Development Engineering (DDE) necessary to deliver project progression as evidenced by successful project CDRL and milestone delivery.

Hybrid: Due to the nature of the work, this role may require on-site presence up to 80%.

This position will require eligibility to obtain a US security clearance. (Non-US Citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance).

RESPONSIBLITIES

The VIMs and DVIMs will lead use case development, requirement identification, decomposition, conflict arbitration, allocation, traceability, and compliance. This includes leadership of model-based systems engineering (MBSE) and digital engineering (DE) efforts that culminate in documentation of requirements, their compliance matrix (RCM) and design verification plan (DVP). The VIMs and DVIMs co-chair the Engineering Review Board (ERB) to ensure robustness of design decision memorandums (DDMs) and that risks are identified, documented, mitigated and communicated.

The VIMs and DVIMs will lead functional architecture development in accordance with the cascaded requirement set, management of system/sub-system level interfaces, technical integration of systems and sub-systems, technical trade study development, assessment of manufacturability, bill of material (BOM) development and associated product cost estimation (PCE) and all Technical Performance Measures (TPMs) necessary to monitor and communicate the progression and status of the program with quality and timeliness.

The VIMs and DVIMs are responsible for the planning, preparation and execution of all design related CDRLs and Milestone reviews, including ownership, communication and documentation of entry and exit criteria, and all associate working groups and meetings leading to those events.

Key tangible deliverables of the VIMs and DVIMs are the technical CDRLs, SEMP, DEMP, RCM, DVP, BOM, and PCE.
