The NA Head of Brand (Gold Bond) is a member of US CHC Marketing Leadership Team to help drive company culture, strengthen values, and assist with further alignment of the US Consumer Healthcare business with the global Sanofi business model.
This role manages a team inclusive of both US and Canada (NA Region), based out of Bridgewater, New Jersey – and reports into the CMO for North America.
Member of US Consumer Health Care Marketing Leadership Team to help drive company culture, strengthen values, and assist with further alignment of the US Consumer Health Care business with the global Sanofi business model
Strategic leadership for brand portfolio across both US and Canada, ensuring alignment on Where to Play and How to Win choices, based on deep consumer insights to drive sustainable sales growth and profitability, managing resource allocation across portfolio of brands.
Strong partnering with Global Category Team (primarily based in France and Germany) and cross functional partners within the US. Requires frequent communication and collaboration
Partner closely with US Sales team to develop winning plans at our top retailers; represent the brands in periodic meetings with key retail customer leadership
Guides the team to create integrated consumer connections based on the consumer journey and marketing mix analysis that connects with the right consumer, at right moment, through the right channel, with the right message to drive growth.
Management of brand architecture and caretaker of brand equity in line with Global Brand definition (where relevant)
Establishment of NA innovation strategy for the brand portfolio
Oversee P&L management, forecasting, and inventory planning
Lead people development directly for the brand team through talent acquisition, training and adoption of Sanofi marketing excellence approaches, performance management, and on-going career and succession planning
Help accelerate transition to agile, digitally savvy marketing team to meet current and future challenges
Performs other duties as assigned.
Post-bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (e.g., Masters, MBA or equivalent), Area of specialization: MBA
15+ years of experience
Significant experience in brand marketing, especially in OTC or CPG
Leadership – skills to envision, engage, enable, and execute
Cooperate transversally: collaboration and influence skills up-down-across organizations and cultures/geographies
Act for change – embrace change and innovation and initiate new & improved ways of working.
Develop people – takes responsibility for one’s self and others in anticipation of future business needs.
