!! URGENT NEED FOR A RAD TECH ODESSA , TX !!
A facility in Odessa, Texas is looking for an X-Ray Tech. Must have minimum 2 years experience and Basic Life Support (BLS), American Registry of Radiologic Technologists(ARRT) and Medical Radiologic Technology License Verification through the Texas Medical Board. Trauma and surgery X-Ray experience required. Must be comfortable with portables and surgery. NO Call.
ASSIGNMENT DETAILS:
- 13-week assignment
- Start Date : 04/23/2024
- Unit: RAD
- Schedule: 02:45 PM-11:15 PM Rad Tech / X-Ray Tues-Thurs 2:45p-11:15p/Fri & Sat 11p-7:30a
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 2 years of recent & relevant experience as an Rad Tech Tech
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists(ARRT)
- Medical Radiologic Technology License Verification through the Texas Medical Board
- Trauma and surgery X-Ray experience required
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Preparing examination rooms for patient examinations.
- Administering radiopharmaceuticals to obtain clear, usable images.
- Positioning patients and equipment, explaining the procedures, and ensuring patients' comfort.
- Inserting commands and data into the computer to document and specify the scan sequences, and monitoring the video display to adjust the density or contrast.
- Monitoring patients during examinations, ensuring their safety, and following procedures to prevent unnecessary exposure to radiation.
- Producing diagnostic images, reporting important information to the Physician, and updating patients' records.
- Organizing the daily procedure schedules for emergencies and monitoring radiographic supplies.
- Performing administrative tasks, such as answering technical questions, scheduling appointments, and offering pre-procedure advice.
- Performing scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs on radiographic equipment.
RATES:
Travel Rate | Hourly Rate: $ 25.00
Weekly Taxed Pay $ 1,000
Weekly Stipend $ 1,162.00
Completion Bonus $ 500.00
Weekly gross pay before taxes $ 2,162.00
Local Rate | Hourly Rate: $ 55.50
Weekly gross pay before taxes $ 2,220.00
