ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

At Wind River, we believe in the transformative power of innovative and visually captivating creative endeavors to elevate the customer experience. As the Supervisor of Creative Design, you'll play a pivotal role within our dynamic team of creative professionals. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Marketing Communications, you'll be an integral part of our Creative Services team—a multifaceted design and production unit located within our Marketing organization.

The ideal candidate has a strong design portfolio in the B2B marketing context and is comfortable working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the team in crafting designs that not only meet but exceed brand guidelines and strategic objectives.
• Provide constructive feedback and guidance to junior designers, fostering their growth and skill development.
• Serve as the final checkpoint for design deliverables, ensuring impeccable quality and timely delivery.
• Spearhead the creation of original designs consistent with our brand identity across various mediums including PowerPoint presentations, web pages, ads, infographics, and more.
• Work closely with a seasoned team of producers, editors, and program managers, fostering a collaborative environment for project success.
• Lead weekly team gatherings to discuss progress, tackle challenges, and optimize resource allocation.
• Review and approve all assets to uphold consistency, quality, and precision.
• Oversee the production pipeline, assigning tasks, and ensuring the seamless flow of deliverables.
• Address production hiccups swiftly, providing effective solutions to keep projects on track.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for interdepartmental coordination, facilitating seamless communication and collaboration.
• Prepare and deliver regular status reports to upper management, offering insights, achievements, challenges, and improvement recommendations.

ABOUT YOU

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 2 years in a creative leadership role with a robust portfolio demonstrating diverse design projects.
• Strong leadership capabilities with a knack for motivating and empowering team members.
• Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, XD, Acrobat Pro), with additional applications being advantageous. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Basic understanding of server environments, HTML syntax, and ability to adapt to new software platforms.
• Exceptional time management and problem-solving skills, with an ability to adapt swiftly to evolving priorities.
• Experience with Workfront or a similar project management tool is a plus.

Compensation

The annual base salary range for this role’s listed grade level is currently $93,300 to $128,020 plus a bonus for Colorado, New York, and New Jersey residents, and $112,100 to $151,300 plus bonus for SF Bay Area, Greater Seattle, NYC, and Washington, DC, residents. Salary ranges are determined through interviews and a review of the education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities of the applicant, and equity with other team members. Employees in this role are also eligible for the following benefits in accordance with the terms of the Company's plans: health, dental, vision insurance, life insurance, flex time off, eligibility to enroll in 401k, and 12 paid holidays.
