Job description
Aerotek is seeking a General Labor/Mill Worker for a company in Bend, OR on DAY SHIFT. This is a M-F work week with a starting wage of 19.50$HR with opportunity for voluntary OT and advancement. Candidates will need to have reliable transportation, be comfortable lifting 25-50lbs and being on their feet in an indoor/outdoor type work environment. This position will require references and those capable of working with pallet jacks, forklift, and machine operations. Great opportunity to advance skillsets and network.
Description:
• Grade wood based on end use in fast-paced production line
• Ability to read blueprints and possess basic mechanical skills (tape measures, calipers, basic hand/power tools)
• Ability to operator machinery and maintain safe/clean work-site
• Inspections/Quality Control and Documentation of any unsafe conditions or concerns/issues - report to Supervisor/Lead
• Maintain OSHA regulations and wear provided PPE
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Ability to stand for 10-12 hours
Wear designated PPE
Operate heavy machinery and lift 25-50lbs on a continuous basis
