Job Description
The Director of Employee Experience is responsible for leading the human resources function for NKFM with a strong focus on culture and talent. The Director of Employee Experience is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive recruiting strategy that attracts and retains a diverse workforce. The Director of Employee Experience will have a focus on culture and talent, and will be responsible for creating and maintaining a positive and productive workplace. Your expertise in employee engagement, retention strategies, behavioral hiring, organizational development, and diversity, equity, and inclusion will be crucial in driving our mission forward.
Responsibilities: - Assess NKFM's existing organizational culture, developing and fostering new initiatives to address gaps.
- Develop and execute comprehensive plan to attract, retain, and develop a diverse, innovative workforce.
- Develop and insure consistent implementation of HR policies and procedures that align with the organization's mission and values.
- Craft job descriptions with inclusive language, establish fair hiring policies and procedures, and network with candidates from underrepresented groups. Guide the standardization of hiring and retention practices and procedures with equity in mind.
- Partner with the executive team and senior leadership to assess and develop HR initiatives.
- Work with leadership and the communications team to improve and expand on internal communication strategies.
- Develop, implement and evaluate company-wide learning programs and professional development opportunities to promote cultural understanding and anti-racist, diversity, equity and inclusion competencies
- Work with community partners or external organizations to bring in speakers, trainers and diversity events for both employees and community members.
Requirements Qualifications: - Self-aware and culturally competent equity advocate. Able to understand and appreciate the perspectives of others.
- Engaged collaborator and effective communicator. Experience engaging with others in hybrid work environment.
- Ability to think strategically about NKFM's culture and talent needs.
- Bachelor's degree not required, but recommended. Will entertain a combination of education and experience that demonstrates knowledge, skill and ability to perform the role, with significant DEI and leadership experience expected.

Working Conditions :
Mostly remote work with in-office required at times; in-state and overnight travel as needed.
Physical requirements; light physical effort equal to lifting or moving of lightweight materials.
