Position: Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Staten Island, NY
Schedule: Flexible, 12-hour night shifts (Non-negotiable)
Salary: $60.00 per hour
Specialties: Home Health, Medical-Surgical, Telemetry
Settings: Acute care, Long-term care, Outpatient
Shifts:
Weekly Hours: 3x12, Monday to Friday with rotating weekends, as needed
Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing care to pediatric patients with G-Tube and Trach requirements in home care.
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and conduct assessments for proper care.
- Manage G-Tube feedings, medication administration, and tracheostomy care.
- Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and families for comprehensive care plans.
- Educate patients and caregivers on G-Tube and Trach care, maintenance, and emergencies.
- Maintain accurate medical records and offer emotional support to patients and families.
Requirements:
- Current NYS RN license.
- 2 years pediatric nursing experience with G-Tube and Trach care.
- BLS and PALS certifications.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach.
Preferred Experience:
- 2 years Pediatric Nursing, Tracheostomy Care, and Home Care.
