Job description
Star Lumber is currently hiring Delivery Drivers, Class C, to join our team! If you have a valid Class C driver's license, a clean driving record, and a passion for customer service, we want to hear from you!
As a Delivery Driver at Star Lumber, you will be responsible for delivering building materials and other products to our customers in a safe and timely manner.
As a driver you will: • Complete deliveries of building material products in and around the Wichita area.
- Products include lumber, siding, windows, doors, cabinets, decking and more.
• Proper loading and unloading of materials at store and customer jobsites.
• Accurate logging of delivery stops.
• Follow all DOT safety policies and requirements.
• Deliver products to customers in a safe and timely manner.
Requirements
• Requires a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
• Must possess the ability to drive interstate.
• Must be able to physically load and unload building materials on/off truck.
• Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions.
• Must meet all DOT requirements and possess or be able to obtain a DOT medical card.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and push or pull 100 lbs. frequently.
Preferred Experience: • Experience with building materials.
• Knowledge of Wichita metropolitan area.
