Job description
MicroHealth is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Business and Delivery Analyst to join our dynamic team to support our client located in Vienna, VA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, defining project scope, and supporting the end-to-end delivery of software solutions. As a Business and Delivery Analyst, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document business requirements, facilitate project planning, and ensure successful project delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients and business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements
- Define project scope, objectives, and success criteria in collaboration with project stakeholders
- Support project planning activities, including resource allocation, scheduling, and risk management
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and business stakeholders
- Conduct analysis of business processes, workflows, and systems to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization
- Assist in the development of project documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, and test plans
- Support the implementation of Agile methodologies and practices to drive iterative and incremental project delivery
- Ensure compliance with best practices, quality standards, and regulatory requirements throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Collecting, recording, and presenting data on the progress and current status of the delivery process. Utilizing insights derived from the data to inform decision-making and guide adjustments to planner activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role in software development projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices is desirable
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment
- Experience with project management tools and software development life cycle (SDLC) processes
