Job description

Sacred Heart Greenwich has been empowering girls and young women since 1848 in a stimulating and developmentally appropriate educational environment in accordance with the Goals and Criteria of a Sacred Heart education. The school offers a coed program for young children at the Barat Center for Early Childhood Education and then an all-girls experience from K-12 on our 110-acre campus in Greenwich, Connecticut. We are proudly part of the Network of Sacred Heart Schools.

Position: Communications and Marketing Manager

We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Communications and Marketing Manager. Reporting to the Director of Strategic Marketing and Communications, this position plays a crucial role in promoting and sharing news about Sacred Heart Greenwich. The Manager will interact daily with the wider Sacred Heart Greenwich community—from students and teachers to alumnae and parents. The ideal candidate has a desire to learn more about digital marketing, public relations, and marketing and is a creative thinker looking to find inventive ways to connect with our community. The Manager will be responsible for:

Responsibilities:

Content Management: Responsible for creating and executing a variety of digital and printed communications, ensuring accuracy and relevance. This includes managing and drafting website content, creating engaging visuals, and optimizing the user experience for visitors.

Website Management: Oversees the school's website, including drafting and editing content, creating engaging visuals, and optimizing the user experience for visitors.

Social Media Strategy: Implements a social media strategy, utilizing photos and videos to connect with the community and accurately tell the Sacred Heart Greenwich story.

Event Coverage: Attends campus events to capture photos and videos for use across school platforms (social media, website, advertising, etc.).

Storytelling: Identifies, drafts, and produces stories that showcase events and community members.

Advertising: Manages and executes advertising campaigns to promote Sacred Heart Greenwich events and initiatives.

Professional Development: Participates in regular professional development to stay updated on new trends, including digital strategies, and learn new skills relevant to communications and marketing.
