Job description
-Collaborate with VDC developers for instructions and direction on project deliverables
-Compile 3D models depicting the plant or expansion designed by the Engineering staff
-These models will include designs from various engineering disciplines
-The VDC Technician will be involved with specification review for system requirements, assist with generation of BIM reports, verify design dimensions in the field, and generate material takeoff
-The VDC Technician will participate in all activities related to the VDC development as directed by the VDC Developers, and should complete tasks to the company procedures, specifications, standards, and any project specific addenda
-Provide technical support to the project team, such as clash detection and layout coordination -Prepare federated models for client model review, VR walkthrough, and construction planning
-Maintain good interface with designers, drafters, and production personnel from an array of design disciplines
