Talent Acquisition HR Intern

Designated for Students interested in Talent Acquisition in aging services in the healthcare field to include workforce planning, recruitment, interviewing, hiring and onboarding.

Title: Talent Acquisition HR Intern

Status: Casual Temporary, Assignment will last 8 to 12 weeks

Shift: Based on Availability, but must be able to work a minimum of 20 hours between the hours of 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday through Friday

Location: Greensburg

This position is offered in partnership with the Westmoreland-Fayette Workforce Investment Board (WFWIB) Experience Works! Plus Program. Applicants must be willing to participate in the program guidelines.

What will I do?

• Perform recruitment to promote the organization such as online and print advertisements, on and offsite job/career fair events, social media platforms, digital campaigns, sourcing methods, etc.
• Cultivate candidate relations by providing information about the organization to potential applicants.
• Interview and refer qualified applicants to hiring manager for employment opportunities.
• Conduct employment required background reviews.
• Manage and schedule new hire onboarding.
• Participate in the development of the electronic onboarding program
• Participate in the new employee orientation program.

What Will I Need?

• High School Diploma/GED and currently enrolled in secondary education studying Human Resources, Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
• Communication; listening, verbal and written skills.
• Presentation and follow up.
• Attention to detail.
• Time management and ability to prioritize in a changing environment.
• Good Planning and organizing abilities.
• Computer skills.
