Talent Acquisition HR Intern
Designated for Students interested in Talent Acquisition in aging services in the healthcare field to include workforce planning, recruitment, interviewing, hiring and onboarding.
Title: Talent Acquisition HR Intern
Status: Casual Temporary, Assignment will last 8 to 12 weeks
Shift: Based on Availability, but must be able to work a minimum of 20 hours between the hours of 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday through Friday
Location: Greensburg
This position is offered in partnership with the Westmoreland-Fayette Workforce Investment Board (WFWIB) Experience Works! Plus Program. Applicants must be willing to participate in the program guidelines.
What will I do?
- Perform recruitment to promote the organization such as online and print advertisements, on and offsite job/career fair events, social media platforms, digital campaigns, sourcing methods, etc.
- Cultivate candidate relations by providing information about the organization to potential applicants.
- Interview and refer qualified applicants to hiring manager for employment opportunities.
- Conduct employment required background reviews.
- Manage and schedule new hire onboarding.
- Participate in the development of the electronic onboarding program
- Participate in the new employee orientation program.
What Will I Need?
- High School Diploma/GED and currently enrolled in secondary education studying Human Resources, Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Communication; listening, verbal and written skills.
- Presentation and follow up.
- Attention to detail.
- Time management and ability to prioritize in a changing environment.
- Good Planning and organizing abilities.
- Computer skills.
