Roles and Responsibilities:
In this role, the candidate will be responsible for the development, integration, and validation of power electronic converters for charging systems for electric vehicle applications. As part of a team, he/she will be involved in architecture development, design requirements definition, modeling, and simulation, as well as testing and validation of the power electronic charger.
Job Description
Design requirements definitions and architecture development for charging systems of electric vehicles.
Hardware development and testing of AC-DC and DC-DC power electronic converters for charger applications.
Modeling and analysis of the cicruits and controls of chargers
Testing and debugging of power electronics chargers
EMI filter design and testing/validation
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in power electronics or electrical engineering, with more than 5 years of industry experience with power converter development.
Minimum 3 years of experience in modeling, testing, and debugging of AC-DC and DC-DC power converters.
Understanding of hardware-mechanical interface as well as hardware-software interface
Understanding of fundamental analytical equations for power inductor and transformer design
Understanding of converter controls specification and design
English communication skill, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Master s degree in electrical engineering with more than 3 years on industry experience in the automotive industry.
Knowledge and understanding of charging protocols
Experience with evaluation/selection and testing of Si and WBG (Sic/GaN) power modules.
Experience in the design and selection of power supplies and gate driver circuits, cooling mechanisms, passive components, protection circuits, and sensing circuits.
Experience with battery emulator
