Description:
Electro-mechanical assembly of aircraft interior accessories, work includes but not limited to sheet metal fabrication, and/or mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic assembly. Essential Functions: Measures parts to determine specified tolerance Drills, taps, reams, countersinks, and spot faces bolt holes in parts Follows written instructions, note and dimensions on drawings Bolts, screws, and rivets parts together Disassembles and replaces parts as required Cleans and lubricates parts and assemblies Marks identifying information on parts

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
MUST HAVE: Overall, the ability to take an engineering drawing/blueprint and a box full of materials and be able to assemble it together. This is from scratch assembly with several parts, not volume production assembly. Excellent organization skills with strong attention to detail Excellent teamwork skills and high degree of initiative required Excellent communication both written and verbal Work independently and possess a high level of self-motivation and initiative Have basic knowledge of the use and maintenance of common shop tools
