Customer Success Intern
Summer 2024 (May 20th - August 23rd)
32 hours per week for 14 weeks
Onsite | St. Paul, MN

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Customer Success Intern for the upcoming summer. This internship provides an exciting opportunity to work closely with our Customer Success Team, contributing to the enhancement of customer relationships, gaining hands-on experience in the field, and actively participating in user signup recruitment efforts.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Customer Relationship Amplification:
- Collaborate with the Customer Success Team to strengthen and amplify customer relationships.
- Assist in identifying and implementing strategies to enhance overall customer satisfaction.
Communication Strategy Deployment:
- Contribute to the creation and deployment of an existing customer communication strategy.
- Develop engaging content for various channels, including social media, to effectively communicate with customers.
Learning and Development:
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of Customer Success principles and practices.
- Participate in customer meetings, showcasing value propositions and learning to address customer needs.
Social Media Marketing:
- Play an active role in crafting content for social media platforms to promote positive customer interactions.
- Work on campaigns that highlight customer success stories and key achievements.
- Create engaging content ready to post on our social media channels.
Recruitment of User Signups:
- Assist in recruiting user signups through various channels.
- Attend customer locations, college orientation events, and company HR events to actively promote and encourage user participation.
- Work at signup tables, engaging with potential users and providing information about the benefits of using BetterYou..
Collaboration:
- Collaborate cross-functionally with different teams to ensure a unified and positive customer experience.
- Contribute innovative ideas to improve processes and communication strategies.
Requirements
Key Qualification, Competencies, Skills, or Abilities:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation.
- Enthusiastic about learning and contributing to a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently when needed.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations and attend events for user signup recruitment. (25% travel potential)
- Strategic and creative thinker with a focus on providing an amazing member experience

Experience - Required:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Previous work experience
- Experience partnering and coordinating with cross-functional teams
Experience - Preferred:
- Experience with social media platforms like Instagram, Snapchat and Tiktok in a professional setting (EDU, Business, Nonprofit)
- Group / extracurricular leadership experience
