Job description
We’re seeking a Fleet Manager to join our team at Fremont Motor Company.
Position Summary
As a Fleet Sales Assistant at Fremont Motor Company, you will play a crucial role in supporting the sales, delivery, and service of motor vehicles to fleet customers. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with business development, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring prompt and courteous communication with fleet customers. You will also assist with the procurement of necessary documents, such as certificates of title, registrations, and inspections. Additionally, you may be involved in negotiating with vendors for automotive equipment, materials, and supplies.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties include the following; Other duties may be assigned:
- Assisting with developing and implementing business strategies to attract new fleet customers, including contacting new businesses and seeking referrals.
- Representing Fremont Motor Company in the community and building rapport with customers to instill confidence in the organization.
- Providing prompt and courteous feedback to fleet customers regarding their business requests and services.
- Assisting with procuring state-required certificates of title and arranging registrations and inspections.
- Coordinating insurance coverage for fleet vehicles, if required.
- Supporting negotiations with vendors to purchase automotive equipment, materials, and supplies.
- Assisting in the assignment of trucks and passenger cars for use.
- Managing workflow to ensure efficient delivery of services.
- Maintaining facilities and equipment to promote efficiency and safety.
- Documenting maintenance and repairs.
- Coordinating and troubleshooting problems within departments, dealerships, and external vendors.
- Informing supervisors of department activity, needs, and problems.
- Utilizing appropriate channels of communication as necessary.
- Promoting a positive work atmosphere by fostering positive relationships with coworkers and staff.
Qualifications

- A valid driver's license and the ability to be insured under Fremont's insurance plan.
- Sales experience is preferred.
- An understanding of the automotive field is advantageous.
- An enterprising attitude and the ability to initiate and complete projects.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, planning, and decision-making skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of customer service principles and processes, including assessing customer needs, meeting quality standards, and evaluating customer satisfaction.
