CoStaff Services specializes in Payroll and Tax Administration, Outsourced Human Resource Management, Benefits Administration, Compliance, Risk Management and Safety, and much more. Our service models include Professional Employer Organization (PEO), Human Resource Outsourcing (HRO), and a licensed Health Insurance Agency. CoStaff is looking for an experienced professional to be an HR Business Partner for our clients.
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) is the client’s main point of contact for higher-level initiatives specializing in human resource related matters. The successful HRBP formulates partnerships with the client and delivers value-added service that aligns with the business objectives of their organization. The HRBP assesses and anticipates HR-related needs of the client to ensure compliance and mitigate risk and liability.
Responsibilities and Duties (External-Client):
- Responsible for acting as a Strategic HR Consultant with Owners, Executives and Managers at client organization both remotely and on client-site, as needed, i.e. weekly, monthly, quarterly, etc.
- Recommend and facilitate higher level HR Initiatives such as Management Coaching and Training, Client Organizational, Departmental and Individual Goal Planning, Performance Management Process, Progressive Discipline and Termination, Job Classifications, Job Descriptions, Performance Appraisal Systems, Employee Handbook, Policy Development, Sexual Harassment, Employee Satisfaction Surveys, Compensation Analysis, Leadership Development, Succession Planning, etc.
- Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations in response to employee relations complaints and inquiries.
- Accountable for proactively building and managing relationships and maintaining credibility at Owner and Executive levels within client organizations.
- Assess client needs to develop appropriate Human Resources strategies to increase client satisfaction and retention to enhance business efficiencies and performance.
- Coach clients on HR best practices with regard to Employee Relations and Employment Law (ADA, FLSA, EEOC, FMLA, etc.).
- Consult with business owners with regard to benefit strategies and offerings to meet company objective.
- Oversee Open Enrollment process to ensure smooth execution from beginning to end.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge on current HR practices, legal requirements and multi-state compliance.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or a related field of study.
- PHR (SHRM-CP) / SPHR (SHRM-SCP) or other recognized Human Resources Certification preferred.
Experience
- 8+ Years of Human Resource and/or Strategic HR Consulting/Account Management.
- Experience with Multiple-Client base preferred.
- Experience in PEO or HRO Industry is extremely beneficial.
