Your New Role... As the Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) portfolio continues to grow – around the world and across platforms – the T&O team is building media technology and IT systems that meet the world class standard for which WBD is known for. T&O builds, implements, and maintains the business systems and technologies that are critical for delivering our products, while articulating the long-term technology strategy that will enable WBD’s growing pay-tv, digital terrestrial, free-to-air, and online services to reach more audiences across various platforms.

With constant security threats and attacks occurring in companies around the globe and across all industries, we are expanding the team and continue to implement latest security tools and resources to protect the Company from ever-growing threats and malicious intent.
As Lead Security Engineer, Ideal Candidate Is Expected To - Implement design reviews to evaluate security controls
- Identify opportunities to enhance the security posture of WBD
- Build and / or manage enterprise security platforms effectively
- Communicate effectively across all levels of management to articulate WBD security goals and vision.
Your Role Accountabilities... - Plan, design, engineer and implement security-related technologies
- Provide technical leadership and management of security projects from concept through deployment and finally handover to operations.
- Understanding technical security issues, their implications within WBD business units and able to effectively communicate them to management and other business leaders.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain security infrastructure – including software and hardware.
- Research and explore emerging security technologies and determine their appropriate use within the Company.
- Conduct security audits and assessments to regularly assess the effectiveness of security platforms and identify areas of improvement.
- Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols.
- Cross-train and mentor other team members as needed
Qualifications & Experiences... - Willing to work a hybrid model with 3 days onsite.
- A minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in building, designing, and maintaining enterprise security tools
- A minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in security engineering
- 8+ years of successfully implementing advanced cyber security technology in a complex environment
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or other related discipline or 5+ years of previous technical security experience
- Engineer and administer security platforms including SIEM systems, endpoint detection and response, vulnerability management, anomaly detection, and cloud analysis.
- Hands on technical experience with Network and Compute architectures and, specifically, the security aspects thereof.
- Hands on technical experience with compliance and regulatory frameworks and how they affect architecture designs and reviews.
- Security and Cloud certifications are a plus. (CISSP, etc.)
- Experience in Managing Brinqa platform and experience with Groovy programming language is a plus
- Must have 5+ scripting experience (using Python or other equivalent languages)
- Thorough understanding of information security principles, techniques, principles, policy frameworks, and best practices
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code technologies (e.g., Ansible, etc.)
- Experience in public cloud infrastructures like AWS (Amazon Web Services) and Azure.
