Aircraft Maintenance Technician - Charlotte, NC
Our client is seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join their team in Charlotte, NC. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance on corporate aircraft.
Responsibilities:
- Perform regular scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft, including AOG situations.
- Inspect engines, wings, propellers, and other parts for defects.
- Read and utilize maintenance manuals and other approved documents for troubleshooting and repairs.
- Install new parts efficiently and to specifications.
- Complete tasks within designated time frames and quality standards.
- Conduct troubleshooting on avionics and electrical systems.
- Collaborate with other mechanics to repair engines and parts.
- Order necessary supplies, equipment, and parts for maintenance.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of experience with corporate business jets preferred.
- Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Passport or equivalent within 90 days of starting.
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
- Possess adequate tools for the job .
- Good organizational skills.
Working Conditions:
- Physical strength and manual dexterity required for operating tools.
- Ability to lift and move up to 70 pounds.
- Comfort working on scaffolding, ladders, and lifts.
- Specific vision abilities required for equipment inspection.
- Moderate noise level in work environment.
