Senior Information Security Analyst
Location: Auburn, AL (Remote)

About the Opportunity: We are seeking a Senior Information Security Analyst for an innovative and rapidly growing software and payments company. This role involves fortifying the organization's security posture and working closely with a team dedicated to various aspects of security, including governance, risk, compliance, offensive and defensive security, architecture, scanning, and incident response.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a versatile security professional, contributing to diverse security domains.
• Collaborate with team members on security strategies across various functions.
• Contribute significantly to security architecture, scanning, incident response, and operations.
• Partner with organizational leaders to enhance the overall security posture.
• Engage proactively to identify and mitigate security risks effectively.
• Stay updated with the latest security trends, tools, and threats.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 5 years in an information security role with exposure to various security domains.
• Expertise: Broad knowledge across governance, risk, compliance, offensive and defensive security, incident response, and security architecture.
• Certifications: Preferred certifications might include CISSP, CISM, or relevant security certifications.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to assess security risks, propose solutions, and implement them effectively.
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Adaptability: Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing security landscapes.
• Preferred Experience:
  • Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning tools.
  • Familiarity with PCI DSS standards and their implementation.
  • Exposure to Cyber Liability Questionnaires and their completion process.
  • Knowledge of cloud security tools would be advantageous.
