Title: Aseptic Process Engineer
Location: Rocky Mount, NC 27804
Shift: 2nd 2-2-3 schedule 7pm-7am (2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on etc.)
Job Description:
- Need to understand the aseptic process and how it would impact a media fill
- Personality is going to be huge here need to be easily coachable, not afraid to speak up, stronger personality not going to get pushed around. Will be working with a lot of floor production personalities and others that support automation and process engineering.
- At this location, there is an array of filling presentations:
- Conventional aseptic fill lines
- Restricted-access barrier systems (RABS)
- Terminal sterilization- this job may work with some
- Really don't want to consider someone who was a process validation engineer unless they somehow still have strong aseptic experience. We don't want a validation engineer.
Must haves:
- Minimum 5 years of experience with aseptic manufacturing processes aseptic filling, isolators, aseptic gowning, isolators, autoclaves
- Experience with Media Fills
- GMP Pharmaceutical experience
- Bachelor's Degree in related field biology, chemical engineering, etc.
Pluses:
- Experience with process simulation and terminal sterilization
- Day to Day:
- Insight Global is seeking 2 Process Engineers with experience in aseptic quality production for a long-term contract for one of our largest pharmaceutical customers. You will be on a team that is responsible for the 24/7 oversight of media fills, stability batches and verifying all quality operations are met and no interference to with procedure. The role will require that aseptic processes are being followed, you will be responsible for maintaining that, not just getting the job up and running. This site provides 24/7 manufacturing operations and will require around the clock coverage. This role will be a 2-2-3 shift, 7pm-7am and will require you to work on the floor and see the process oversight. You will be on a team of 20 process engineers that are familiar with the overall aseptic process and how it impacts media fill.
