Crisis Recovery Manufacturing Consultant
Position Type: Independent Consultant (1099 or LLC) Locations: Continental United States Travel Required: 85-100% Industry: Automotive

The Crisis Recovery Manufacturing Consultant is responsible for improving existing manufacturing processes and evaluating where improvement is needed for safety, throughput, cost, quality, and overall footprint. The Crisis Recovery Consultant will ensure all projects are executed in alignment with the Operations, Engineering, and technical groups from conception to project closure.

Ideal Expereince… 

• Strong Operations, Logistics or Supply Chain experience in automotive manufacturing
• Prior experience in crisis management, turn-arounds, M&A advisory, operational advisory etc.
• Consultants will demonstrate analytical skills, exceptional collaborative interpersonal skills with all levels of stake holders ability to adjust and adapt quickly and willingness to travel for indefinite periods to customer sites as needs dictate
• Work closely on client company engagements that can cover an array of operational requirements in a highly distressed situation.
  
• Strong verbal and oral communication skills: Able to distill complex situations and analyses into meaningful information / recommendations for decision makers.
  
• Big picture perspective: Able to identify critical areas and drivers to quickly develop analyses to drive solutions forward; skilled at identifying inconsistencies between analyses and other context clues.
  
• Self-Starter: Able to work through ambiguity with strong project management skills
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field
• 10+ years of manufacturing experience
• Strong Interpersonal Skills with the ability to work and communicate effectively
