What You Will Be Doing

Team Leadership:
- Lead and inspire a team of controls engineers to achieve excellence in designing, developing, and maintaining control systems
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages creativity and continuous improvement

Control System Design:
- Oversee the design and implementation of advanced control systems for our manufacturing processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of control systems with existing infrastructure

Automation:
- Drive automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and optimize production processes
- Stay abreast of the latest automation technologies and trends to keep our systems cutting-edge

Project Management:
- Manage controls engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery
- Work closely with stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives

Troubleshooting and Maintenance:
- Lead troubleshooting efforts to identify and resolve issues with control systems promptly
- Develop preventive maintenance plans to ensure the reliability and longevity of control systems

What You Need for this Position

5+ years of experience in controls engineering and a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or similar, or a combination of equivalent work experience and an automation technical degree and:
- Proven experience in a leadership role within controls engineering in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in PLC programming and HMI development (e.g. Allen Bradley, Logix, Factorytalk View, Aveva InTouch, etc)
- Strong knowledge of automation technologies, controls system design, and troubleshooting methodologies
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
