Job Description:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Implements and sustains client work process for the manufacturing cell.
2. Identifies critical equipment setting and creation of standards.
3. Creates technical knowledge for the manufacturing cell and transfers the knowledge to the operator and technical associates.
4. Coach associates on continuous improvement methodologies within the manufacturing cell and leading the autonomous maintenance process.
5. Understands top losses within the manufacturing cell and develops and implements plans to eliminate losses and drive OEE performance.
6. Responsible for manufacturing cell change control including validation activities, root cause analysis of prioritized OEE losses, and quality events and deviations.
7. Act as technical specialists advising how methods and concepts should be applied to their area and expanded to organization-wide problems and developments.
8. Plan and execute activities for multiple major or complicated projects, processes, and equipment.
9. Receive limited guidance to achieve broad objectives
10. Represent the organization about their area of expertise, including leading presentations.
11. Develop and oversee budgets, as well as write proposals for major or complicated projects.
12. Advise and negotiate in terms of critical issues.
13. Other duties as required to support the needs of the business.
Education and Experience:
Minimum Education:
This position has the following minimum educational requirements:
BA/BS Degree Required - Engineering degree, Mechanical, Industrial and Manufacturing preferred
Minimum Experience:
5 years Manufacturing experience preferred
