A postdoctoral research fellowship is available to study metabolism and iron homeostasis in T cell-mediated immunity, which was developed based on PMC7329364. The position is in the laboratory of Dr. Cheong-Hee Chang, University of Michigan.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include planning and carrying out laboratory research, generating and keeping records of all experimental results. It is also expected to be innovative, contribute to identifying new strategies, and design new research proposals. In addition, work as a point of reference to less experienced members of the laboratory, providing guidance and support.

Required Qualifications
Successful candidates must hold a Ph.D. in immunology, the molecular basis of disease or equivalent, and be a first author on at least 1 publication. An applicant with an MD degree with research experience would also be considered. The applicant is expected to be well versed in immunological techniques including both in vitro and in vivo models. Skills including flow cytometry, organ harvest and analysis, primary cell isolation and culture are expected. Molecular biology techniques such as PCR, RNA manipulation, Western Blotting, and ELISA are desired. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English are required.
