Location: Torrance CA
Position Type: Fulltime 12hour Day Shifts
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to women during labor and delivery ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the childbirth process.
Monitor fetal and maternal status assess progress of labor and intervene as necessary to address any complications or concerns.
Administer medications perform procedures and assist with surgical interventions such as cesarean sections.
Collaborate with physicians midwives and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
Educate patients and their families about childbirth breastfeeding newborn care and postpartum recovery.
Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and families during labor delivery and postpartum period.
Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient assessments interventions and outcomes in accordance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.
Required Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
California Registered Nurse License (upon hire).
National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association (upon hire).
National Provider NRP certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics (upon hire).
Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
National Certification in Labor and Delivery upon hire.

Compensation:
Base Salary: USD $98000 to $130000
Fulltime position with full benefits
No relocation assistance
No commission or bonus eligibility
