Onsite Estimator / Sales Representative / Onsite Moving Consultant
We're seeking an Onsite Estimator / Onsite Moving Consultant with strong sales skills for our fast-paced moving company. Job Description:
Meet with clients at the clients’ location to perform an onsite estimate for moving services, which includes:
- Build rapport with clients, identifying their needs, key decision points, etc;
- Identify items that are going to be moved, and other moving services needed;
- Input inventory for the move to the software;
- Input / verify customer and move information in the system;
- Using our systems and softwares, calculate crew, hours needed and estimated totals;
- Present estimates and information about service to the clients, using the script;
- Go to closing and make reservations using the scripts provided;
- Work with objections, if necessary, using the scripts provided;
Note: all calculations, presentations, closings, and rebuttals must occur onsite with the client;
Plus:
- Maintain high accuracy of estimates (goal is within 10% difference);
- Confirm upcoming appointments and conduct regular follow-up activities for pending deals, according to Best California Movers’ systems;
- Record all communication with clients and follow-ups into the system;
- Attend daily and weekly meetings;
- Report to the manager challenging issues and potential issues;
- Other related responsibilities may be assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Previous onsite estimator/ sales/ or moving company experience is a plus;
- Self-motivated, energetic, organized, well-spoken, trainable and reliable;
- Ability to follow instructions while following your own critical thinking when needed;
- Fluent English speaker;
- Tech savvy;
- This position requires extensive driving within Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino, and Ventura Counties plus work-from-home for remaining administrative tasks - own car can be used with mileage reimbursement or company car can be provided;
- Reliable high-speed internet, reliable cell phone and fast laptop/computer;
- Full time position - hours vary depending on onsite reservations, which might be scheduled M-F 8 AM - 6 PM Pacific Time plus occasionally during the weekend. Days off will be granted on days with no reservations plus Saturday or Sunday.

- Annual earnings range from $50,000 to $90,000 USD, combining a base salary of $3,400 to $5,000 per month with an uncapped 2% commission. Your total income directly reflects your sales achievements, with potential monthly revenues between $50,000 and $120,000
