Job description
POSITION SUMMARY :
Performs general accounting functions for the department and work closely with other members of the Accounting Team.
Provides supervision of personnel and leads within the department when the manager/supervisor is unavailable.
Knowledgeable of GAAP principles and, for Hospital Accounting roles, OSHPD guidelines for financial preparation.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE :
Required :
Minimum of 5 years' accounting experience.
Working knowledge of general ledger systems.
Demonstrated ability to lead others.
Preferred :
Hospital/healthcare experience; experience in Hoag's current ERP/Financial system.
EDUCATION :
Required : Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
Preferred : Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
