Job description
Overview
We are currently seeking a Quality Control Inspector for our 2nd shift at our facility in Waukegan, IL (60085). As a Quality Control Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our products. If you have experience in quality inspection, are familiar with measurement gauges and blueprint reading, and have worked in a manufacturing environment, we would love to hear from you.
** SUMMARY:
**
Inspectors are basically responsible for making the determinations of conformance to specifications and reporting their findings in a timely and clearly understood manner.
You will be reporting to other departments and senior management so that corrective actions may be determined.

** ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES:
**
- Use of precision measuring instruments, blue prints, and drawings.
- Evaluating received and manufactured product for conformance to specifications, and then recording and reporting result according to documented procedural requirements.
- Controlling inspection stamp at all times.
** NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITES:
**
- Performing inspection support function as assigned by management. These functions include but are not limited to, filing, generating reports, data entry and retrieval, etc.
- Performing basic housekeeping functions to maintain a clean and orderly work environment.

** EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
**
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic arithmetic and English skills required.
- A minimum of 1 to 3 years related experience.
- Inspectors must have sufficient manual dexterity to be able to hold instruments and sense by touch the pressure a measuring instrument is applying to the measured piece.
- Inspectors must have visual acuity adequate to assure manufactured received product conform to all appropriated specifications.
- Familiarity with blueprint and measuring instruments sufficient to determine conformance to specifications is desired.
** WORK ENVIRONMENT:

You will be working in the factory.

- Blueprint Reading
- Quality Inspection Experience
- Experience in a Manufacturing Environment

Salary info:
$17 - $18 / hr
