We are looking for a Manufacturing Scientist I in Eugene, OR for a 12+ months contract position.

Duration: 12+ months contract position
Client: Direct Client
Shift: M-F 8am-5pm
Requirements:
Minimum of BS/BA Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or related subject area.
Proficient in general chemical laboratory techniques and procedures such as rotary evaporation, pipetting, UV-vis and emission spectroscopy and safe handling of chemicals including organic solvents.
Experience in one or more of organic, particles, quantum dots, and conjugation chemistry is a plus.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Knowledge of Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure and be able to multi-task.
Proven ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
Outstanding attention to detail.
