Job description

Restaurant Gary Danko is looking for a Full Time Telephone Reservationist to work in the Corporate Office.

Performing the essential duties of a reservationist requires sitting and operating telephone and computer equipment for extended periods of time. Basic computer skills using Microsoft Software like Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook (i.e. keyboarding, e-mailing, printing, etc.) are also required, as well as the ability to understand and operate the company’s phone and Resy reservation systems.
Must possess a friendly and cooperative behavior not only when speaking to guests over the phone but also co-workers and supervisors. 
The following essential duties must be performed at the company’s corporate office: 

• Check voicemails: confirmation and cancellation lines

• Answer Telephones
  • Employ a sense of urgency (phones are FIRST PRIORITY!)
  • Professional (“my pleasure”, “good evening”, “you’re welcome”, “have a great evening”) warm and empathetic voice

• Forecasting (rebooking day of cancellations)

• Confirm Reservations

• Print Menu’s

• Interact with the Kitchen with respect to menu changes and update Menus.
• Interact with the Host/Hostess before and during service and update the Reservation Sheet.
• Call wait list to rebook cancellations.
• Respond to all email requests

•   Side work including but not limited to wraping muffins, menu packets, cut foil for kitchen, cut & sticker muffin bags, ribbon, toilet paper, processing gift certificates, assist accounting during down time, etc.
