We are seeking an exceptional Principal Architect to join our team. In this strategic role, you will lead the development and execution of our technical strategy, ensuring the seamless delivery of innovative solutions that balance speed-to-market, scalability, and differentiation.

As a strategic partner to our executive leadership, you'll help establish the culture and rhythm of the engineering department. Building relationships, accelerating product development, and achieving predictability will be critical to your role. Tech Stack : TypeScript, React/React Native, Next.js, Jest, Material UI, Storybook, Lottie, Knock, Redox, GitHub, AWS Infrastructure and Services: CDK, Amplify, EventBridge, AppSync, LakeFormation, Sagemaker, QuickSight.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and maintenance of our React/TypeScript front-end, emphasizing code quality and performance.
• Provide expert technical leadership to architect and implement scalable solutions for seamless user experiences.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, playing a pivotal role in designing and implementing scalable solutions.
• Champion security measures, proactively identifying and resolving potential vulnerabilities to protect user data.
• Mentor and inspire engineers, fostering a culture of growth and innovation.
• Drive continuous improvement through comprehensive code reviews, impactful open-source contributions, and staying at the forefront of industry best practices.
• Work closely with product managers and designers to translate diverse user needs into elegant and efficient solutions.
• Leverage deep knowledge of AWS infrastructure and managed services to ensure optimal platform performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Utilize over 15 years of professional software engineering experience to make critical decisions and guide the team towards success.
• Contribute a seasoned perspective to projects, leveraging extensive expertise.

Requirements

• Over 10 years of professional experience as a software engineer, specializing in cloud-based solutions and React/TypeScript development.
• Demonstrable deep knowledge of AWS infrastructure and managed services, ensuring robustness, scalability, and compliance.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with a passion for mentoring and collaborating with a diverse team.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering high-quality software solutions, consistently adhering to high standards of performance and maintainability.
• A track record of significant open-source contributions, driven by a desire to empower the community with knowledge and expertise.
• Tenacious problem-solver thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, contributing unique experiences and perspectives to shape innovative solutions.

Base Salary: $175,000-$219,000

Total compensation package also includes performance bonus and stock options. The actual base pay can vary depending on various other factors and may be subject to change.
