Work closely with Legal, Government Relations, and business unit staff to provide legal advice on a variety of government relations and corporate matters, with emphasis on federal/state legislative and/or regulatory mandates of entities such as NHTSA, CPSC, EPA, and CARB. Work with outside counsel to manage claims and lawsuits. Act as trademark counsel of record in trademark prosecution and appellate review with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
