*** CNA Days/Eves/Nights Rotate - 36hrs. ***
1. Unit Name: Phippen 6/7.
2. Brief Unit Description: 32 bed Ortho/Neuro med/surg unit. This is a private unit; we admit all other medical overflow.
3. Census: 16 beds in Phippen 6 & 16 beds in Phippen 7. Total of 32 beds.
4. Floating Required: Travelers are required to float to applicable units when needed.
5. Rotating Shifts Required: Day Rotators may be rotated between (7a-7p, 11a-11p or 7p-7a) shifts when needed. Night positions do not rotate. Rotation frequency is usually low. 6. Years of Experience Required: min. 2 years experience.
7. Skill Sets Required: Active MA CNA License.
8. Clinician to Patient Ratio: Day and Eve shifts are 1 to 4, may go up to 5. Night shift is 1 to 5 or 6 patients.
9. Patient Population: Scheduled elective Orthopedic and Neuro/Surg patients, Fractures, Neuro patients and all other medical patients overflow.
10. Bed Count: 32 beds.
11. EMR (Charting System): EPIC.
12. Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS not required but welcomed.
