Job description

Nesco's client in Naugatuck, has an immediate temporary need for a Senior Accountant . Work for a hands-on Accounting Manager who seeks assistance with month-end close, financial reporting, G/L analysis, reconciliations etc... The ideal candidate is a detail oriented self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Potential for perm!

• Maintain general ledger by transferring accounts, preparing trial balances, and reconciling entries
• Financial reporting and data compilation as needed – preparing P&L and balance sheet statements, providing auditors with information, and procuring ad hoc reports as requested.
• Assist with month end close for all entities, finalize all reconciliations.
• Support management as needed with analysis, reporting, KPI's, and more

• Bachelor's in Accounting
• 6 years of experience; familiarity with manufacturing environments a plus
• Exceptional Excel skills are a must
• ERP System experience a plus
