POSITION OVERVIEW:

Prudential Center’s Social Media team is a true collaborative unit, where all voices, minds and ideas contribute to the collective output of the Prudential Center brand.
This team is seeking a creative Social Media Specialist, on a part-time basis, to join one of the sports and entertainment industry’s best social media teams. Reporting directly to the Director of Social Media Strategy in collaboration with the Director of Entertainment Marketing, this position is responsible for producing and publishing Social Media content to Prudential Center social media platforms. This passionate person will also play a key role in executing live event coverage, campaigns, stunts, marketing promotions, community initiatives, partnership activations, and more. You will be part of an integrated marketing team, so having a good understanding of the full marketing mix across Creative, Media, and Production is a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE BELOW:
- Support Director of Social Media Strategy with the day-to-day management of social content calendars ensuring all event information is shared with relevant parties and seeking approvals where needed.
- Help steer the Prudential Center Entertainment Marketing Content & Social strategy and representation on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, and any other digital outlets where music fans congregate online at scale.
- Maintain knowledge and stay on top of evolving trends on all primary platforms, as well as research and educate the wider team on newer platforms.
- Serve as a “boots on the ground” Social Media content gatherer and producer for Prudential Center, inclusive of capturing content with fans, performers, influencers, etc.
- Assistance in Prudential Center social media coverage, including concerts and special events, arena experiences, food and beverage offerings, and activations as required.
- Develop and execute new content and social media platforms and concepts in collaboration with the Entertainment Marketing team.
- Ideate Social-first creative as part of a team to produce ground-breaking content including Reels, TikTok’s, etc.
- Produce sponsorship, marketing, brand, community, corporate communications, and human resources content via social media.
- Keeping a finger on the pulse of music and culture, spotting storytelling opportunities and social trends to bring to the team for consideration, and working to turn around assets quickly to drive buzz and engagement in real-time. Coordinate the deployment of content assets on Social Media platforms in line with the Prudential Center posting strategy.
- Assist in fan engagement and customer service executed via social media.
- Assist in the tracking of sponsored social media and content campaigns and programs.
- Assist leadership in the brainstorming and ideation of campaigns and strategy.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in social media and/or content production, preferably for an entertainment organization.
- Demonstrated skill in strong brand copywriting.
- Prior experience using all major Social Media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, etc.)
- Prior experience in graphic design, including Adobe Photoshop.
- Prior experience in video editing, including Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Prior experience in shooting and editing vertical video content (e.g. Instagram Reels and TikToks).
- Experience using Sprout Social and Asana a plus.
