Job description
Selectek has an exciting opportunity for a CAD Drafter in Norcross, GA. In this role, you will produce shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and assembly drawings for a sheet metal manufacturer. You must be a US Citizen or authorized to work in the United States to be considered. Requirements & Responsibilities: 5+ years of CAD experience Familiarity with engineering requirements in Metal Panel systems Ability to read and understand architectural and Structural drawings Develop embed drawings and shop drawings for architectural approval, as defined in the scope of work provided by customer supplied architectural and/or structural plans and specifications. Develop fabrication drawings for the shop workers use in fabrication and assembly. Develop assembly drawings on unitized systems for use in unit frame assembly and glazing by customer. Draw floor plans, elevations and details per company’s drafting and product standards. Review post-award new or revised architectural and/or structural drawings for scope changes. Coordinate product analysis with company’s engineering and sales  personnel.
