Job description
Applications are invited for a full-time, term position as an Instructor or Assistant Professor in the University of Minnesota Duluth Physics and Astronomy Department. This appointment begins August 19, 2024 and ends May 18, 2025.
The successful candidate will be expected to fully contribute to the teaching and service responsibilities in the Department of Physics and Astronomy. The teaching load for this position is 10-14 weekly contact hours (three courses or equivalent) per semester. Depending on interest and qualifications, those selected could teach a mix of introductory and upper-level courses, and possibly astronomy or astrophysics courses.
