Job Description Summary
The Lead Project SCADA Engineer will be a resident expert in the creation and troubleshooting of wind farm project software packages. This person will also manage efforts to improve, maintain, and/or create tools that improve quality and efficiency of SCADA and control software deployment and implementation.

Roles and Responsibilities
Responsible for engineering fulfillment of Customer Modifications and Upgrades associated with SCADA, WindControl, and Turbine Control including:
- Active participation in customer meetings.
- Reviewing / Clarifying contractual requirements.
- Translating project requirements into product definition.
- Work closely with Controls Team in rollout and implementation of new software features and releases
- Provide engineering instructions for site software packages that are specifically and accurately configured to accommodate customer requirements
- Providing timely & accurate responses to customer technical inquiries.
- Providing technical support for site commissioning.
- Creating / Facilitating project specific customer & commissioning documentation.
- Establish and maintain relationships with required external and internal interfaces to ensure that customer requirements are understood and achieved.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 2 years experience in equipment controls or SCADA control systems
- Ability and willingness to travel 10% of the year

- ControlST & MarkVIe (GE Employees only)
- MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio), VBA, AutoCAD, SQL, OPC, ODBC, MODBUS, networking, and controls software
- TCP/IP network over fiber optic, wireless, and microwave infrastructure
- Experience troubleshooting site software packages
- Strong analytical skills, able to do Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to understand and resolve problems
- Creating and interpreting technical drawings
- Six Sigma green belt certification (GE Employees only)
- Actively lead initiatives for continuous improvement regarding functions such as parameter development and deployment, control software management, parameter management for legacy units and execution of modification and upgrades
The salary range for this position is 93,600.00 -156,000.00 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus. Available benefits include Health, Medical, 401K, Paid Leave.
