Job description
Job Responsibilities:
Experience level - 3-5 years
- Developing their own test cases, after they create test plans, they test (below) from requirements or system behavior. 2-3 months 100% of the time. They are in 3-week sprints. 50% writing. Documenting Microsoft Azure for PM/Requirements work. Test plan- detailed instructions on how to validate the requirement of the system.
- Develop test cases based on system feature requirements. CAN-based testing, canalyzer, CAN, etc. Collecting CAN data and processing it. Internal tool, NI LabVIEW program that they use to capture analog/digital signals. 50% testing and verifying
- Execute Software Test Cases on vehicle and bench set-ups.
- Review feature requirement and provide feedback on test ability
- Analyzing test data and evaluating the results
- Troubleshooting system issues (e.g. power, harness, set-up, etc.) and bugs
- Develop/modify testing scripts (in Python) per test requirements (Preferred) 10% of work
Must Have:
- System/Software Testing Methodology SW and HW testing exp. Actual system testing, etc. Need to know how HW and SW communicate. All Manual testing, NO HIL/Automated.
- Automotive field would be helpful bench level testing, etc. (small unit testing)
- Knowledge/Experience in Black and or grey box testing at either module or system level
- Testing experience in CAN communication, system and or bench level testing
- Good communication skills both verbal and written. Someone who wants to figure out roadblocks.
- Basic Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
Preferred:
- Experience in Python programming language. Ability to develop/modify the testing scripts as per test requirements
- Testing experience in automotive and or embedded systems background
- Network/Connectivity experience (Ethernet, wifi, Bluetooth, Cellular)
- Industrial Equipment operation
