ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Processes admissions on a 24 hour, 7 day a week basis as directed by patient and family needs.
- Works late evening or late night admissions at least once weekly.
- Provides professional, courteous nursing service to the patient consistent with knowledge, training experience and hospice standards.
- Provides the initial patient and family assessment, incorporating psycho-social, spiritual, cultural, physical and appropriate nursing interventions.
- Meets or exceeds weekly productivity standards for completing admissions.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. - Minimum of AA degree in nursing; Bachelors Degree preferred. Current Florida RN license in good standing.
- Minimum of (1) one year clinical nursing experience.
- Excellent assessment skills required.
- Current Basic life support (BLS) CPR Certification required.
