Job description

Overview:

The School of Computing and Engineering and the College of Arts and Sciences at Quinnipiac University seek an Assistant Teaching Professor to be jointly appointed in Computer Science and Game Design and Development, two areas of growing interest and demand. This position begins in August 2024.

The standard workload will involve teaching four courses a semester, advising students, particularly double majors in Computer Science and Game Design and Development, and serving on committees that aim to enhance the stature of our programs and the quality of the academic experiences we provide at Quinnipiac University.

Ideal candidates will have experience in computer science that includes programming for 3D game engines, and a broad range of technical and creative skills. A candidate's ability to bring relevance to the classroom through their professional experiences and networks is highly desired. We are especially interested in candidates who have experience working with diverse populations.
