Job description
Selectek has an immediate need for (3) AutoCAD Technicians in the Newnan, GA area. Job description: Develop shop-drawing plans, elevations, wall sections and details for architectural aluminum products, from estimate take-off, project specifications, architectural and structural drawings utilizing AutoCAD Revise drawings as required, per red line mark ups and written directions Meet submission and fabrication schedules Generate fabrication drawings from approved shop drawings and parameters Required: Proficiency in AutoCAD (must be recent experience) Regular and predictable attendance High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of experience as an AutoCAD Drafter Mechanical aptitude (understand how parts get assembled) MS Office experience Preferred: Technical drafting degree or certificate in a related field Any experience with glazing, and/or curtain wall is a PLUS but not required Someone who is self-motivated, reliable, and able to work on multiple projects at once Sponsorship: No Pay range: $23/hour - $32/hour ($48,000 - $68,000 annual salary range) Term of assignment: 6 months temp to perm Pay method when direct: Hourly Hours and shift: Monday - Friday 8AM – 5PM Work from home/remote: No Overtime expected: Yes, an average of 5 hours/week.
